Outstanding service from a highly professional team. We had an urgent need to repair a blocked sewer. With hours of getting a quote from Alex, Mickey and James arrived at our property and started work. Access to the site was very difficult but they managed to get a digger down the narrow access path without any damage. By 3pm they had the hole dug and piping replace. By midday the next day they had finished the job after restoring the site superbly. We could not recommend Woden Valley Plumbing and Gasfitting highly enough. Definitely 5 Star!

We were very happy with whole experience with Wooden Valley Plumbing. I booked online for someone to come and look at our hot water system which was malfunctioning. We got a phone call straight away moving our appointment forward to get it fixed.The tech who attend was super polite and professional. Talked me through the issues (and didn't default to the most expensive outcome either!). Half an hour and we were done and dusted, and we have hot water again! Also gave me some good advice about what to do if the issue happens again (before we pay more money for him to attend!Received a follow up call the following day to check to see that all was good with our hot water.So, all in all, very happy, and a pleasure to recommend!

Called Woden Valley plumbing for a broken toilet cystern was able to explain everything over the phone and provide a quote. Next day Alex came out to do the work and did a great job! It was a difficult job, in relatively confined space, and when he had identified the fault he discussed the remedial options with us and returned the following day to complete the work. We contacted Woden Valley Plumbing as we had a leak coming from our water tank, an appointment was made for a Technician to come and assess in two days. Nick arrived on time and very quickly established what the problems were. Nick was thorough in his explanation, gave us recommendations and a quote. Nick was able to do one repair on the day and made a time to return in four days with the new parts he needed to carry out the work on the other two areas. Nick also advised on what can be done to protect roof tiles with the name of a reliable contact.We can definitely recommend Woden Valley Plumbing and Gasfitting and look forward to seeing Nick again to complete the job.

Highly recommend. Had Nick in to replace seal on very old toilet at my parents’ place. He drew my attention to running water issue that I had not noticed and fixed that too. Nick arrived right on time which was surprising as other tradesmen have always been a little late. He was very courteous, even took off his shoes when walking in the house and on carpet, and politely answered all the questions I had. Fixed the problem quickly and cleaned up after too. The company were very efficient in their booking and followup, to confirm details the day before the service man was to attend.On the day of the service call the service man rang to confirm the booking time and to ask if it was convenient to attend earlier as he had finished his previous job.He arrived within 25 minutes. The service man assessed the problem, repaired and serviced the furnace. The charge was the same as the quote provided earlier.On the whole we were very satisfied with the service provided by Woden Valley Plumbing and Gas Fitting.

Woden Valley Plumbing gets 12 out of 10 - on time, professional, respectful tradespeople who install and maintain reliable products. Over the last 25 years, they've installed 2 air-conditioning units, replaced the hot water system, and maintained the heater. Quick, efficient installation and servicing - no nonsense, no smoking out the front yard for 1/2 hour, they just get the job done.

Our old central gas heater wasn't working properly. These guys sorted out the problem, and suggested that we replace the heater and fit the new one in the sub-floor. Now we have a warmer house and an extra storage room!I was most impressed with their professionalism. While they were here they investigated a plumbing blockage and a gas leak and contacted Icon for us. They even turned up on Saturday to investigate a possible gas leak (which there wasn't, of course). Very professional, honest and reassuring. I highly recommend them.

My gas heater was not working on a minus 4 degrees Saturday morning and I called Woden Valley Plumbing and Gasfitting around 7am for advice and help. They could not have been more helpful and prompt in their response. I had a technician out within a couple of hours who quickly identified the issue and fixed the heater. Andrew and his team were terrific to work with from start to finish. They undertook major works involving two weeks full time on site, and were courteous and thoughtful throughout - Ante and Liam regularly checked in with us to manage any inconveniences and even moved plants with the digger and replanted them carefully. They also took the time to explain what was happening, explain options where unexpected problems were encountered, answer any questions we had, and respond to our (minor) feedback on the final walkthrough. Overall this team were excellent to work with and a pleasure to have sharing our space for two weeks - not something I thought I’d say, especially with a newborn! They clearly cared about the work they were doing and wanted us to feel happy with it as well. Easily recommend this team to anyone.

From the initial phone call to the work and service I received when my toilet became blocked was nothing short of excellent. The friendly and helpful office staff took my call and promptly scheduled an appointment. When the technician arrived he quickly went to task and gave me a detailed explanation of his findings, which turned out to be tree roots blocking my sewer line. We contacted Woden Valley Plumbing and Gasfitting after our old Braemar system set off our fire alarms. Thankfully the house was fine, but the fan assembly in the ducted gas heater was cooked.The team was very helpful in explaining our options and the risks and benefits of each one. They were genuinely concerned to ensure we made the right choice for us, and knew the risks before investing considerable money in a solution. A new fan assembly is one thing, but the risk of then having to replace circuit boards and worry about CO readings is something we wouldn’t have thought of, and had to weigh up. A problem of having an older system.In the end, we elected to replace our old system entirely, as the most reliable and risk free approach. The decision was made easier when, after discussing our financial difficulty with purchasing a new system, Andrew assisted us by offering an excellent price and even arranging a payment plan that we could afford. The new system was a 5 star Braemar, compared to our old 3 star, and The office helpfully advises us of the potential for a $500 rebate from Evo Energy for upgrading.Andrew and Emma (the office administrator) also did an excellent job of scheduling us in as soon as possible, which we were very grateful for since we have a 4 month old that was freezing in the house without heating!!When the team arrived the install was quick and trouble free, and the guys were polite and friendly. They helpfully explained the new system, answered our questions and cleaned up after they were done.I would definitely recommend these guys anytime you need a plumber or gas fitter, and particularly when you need to fix or replace your gas heating!

While the two techs cheerily fitted the new system, they had a novel way of getting the old heater out the roof cavity and off the roof, which may disturb some viewers. I was happy with the prompt and friendly service, and recommend this company to anyone who is in need of central heating.

I liked that they were more concerned with the safety of our old unit, than to get paid on time. Our old heater was failing at a financially difficult time for us, but they were happy for us to delay paying the bill for a week, rather than delay installing the new unit, due to the dangerous gases that our old unit was putting out. Thank you for putting our health above everything else. As for the installation of our new heater, and removal of our old one: fast and friendly service.

I called Woden Valley Plumbing & Gasfitting when my 25 year old hot water system completely gave up on me, from my first phone call I was completely put at ease with the process. They showed up when they said they would (on the same day) and most importantly I didn't have to worry about a thing as they took care of everything from start to finish until I had hot water again. I called a number of companies who quoted me an oddly cheap installation but there were "add-ons" so I was left unsure of how much it was actually going to cost, Woden Valley Plumbing gave me a fixed price for everything including the valves too which added to the ease of a stressful situation! Jayde was so helpful when I first rang and she made suggestions which I hadn't thought of and which we ultimately went with. We had a plumbing disaster on Saturday - a neigbourhood sewerage main burst, leaving our backyard in quite a state. Called Canberra Plumbing and Drains (also known as Woden Valley Plumbing and Gasfitting) about a water leak that sounded like it was coming from inside the laundry wall. Jayde explained in detail what it would cost and what the process was to locate and find the leak. There was a separate charge for the initial call out and then a quote to fix the leak and repair the concrete slab. Jayde explained in detail what was included and what was not included.Brodie D. attended the same day and examined the wall and searched for the leak. He couldn't find the exact spot because it appeared the leak was coming from under the foundation of the wall.Brodie D. and Michael attended the following afternoon to continue the job. After Brodie D. briefed Michael he left and Michael went to work. He had to dig through the tile floor and concrete slab as well as remove a small section of the wall. He finally located the leak that was under the floor level between the outside brick wall and the interior wall frame.It was now Michael's normal quitting time. Josh arrived to take over, but Michael decided to stay as well because he wanted to make sure the leak was fixed so we would have water.Michael and Josh fixed the leak and then discovered another leak. Instead of stopping (as it was already getting late on Friday night and they both had plans) they continued with the job until the leaks were fixed and they were sure they were no more. Then they cleaned up the laundry and took the floor rubble away with them.My wife and I appreciate the amount of work they did and the efforts Michael and Josh put in to fix the leaks so we had running water for the weekend.I want to commend Jayde, Brodie D., Michael and Josh for their outstanding workmanship, professionalism, care and high level of knowledge relating to home construction and plumbing they demonstrated while finding and fixing the water leaks in my home.Canberra Plumbing and Drains (also known as Woden Valley Plumbing and Gasfitting) are not the cheapest but I believe they are one of the best. I recommend them for any plumbing, drainage or gasfitting work required.

The Woden Valley Plumbing and Gasfitting team were fantastic to deal with. They were engaging and responsive from the initial call. My hot water unit was on its last legs and with a family of five I was keen to have it replaced. I had a technician visit the same day to inspect the unit and reassure me it wouldn't burst!!! I then had a replacement unit installed the following day. The team were professional, they explained the options that were available and that would suit my family needs and they installed the unit without fuss. Overall a very pleasant experience dealing with the Company. Experienced trades was quickly able to establish the fault in our evaporative cooling. Further they provided a compedative quote for a replacement unit and were able to give us an installation date quite soon given it was the busiest period for their business (peak summers). We are now awaiting the installation which was booked in by their friendly receptionist.

Andrew got me out of trouble last Saturday done a great job in repairing my blocked sewer.. I was a construction supervisor and involved in all sorts of drainage and trenching in some very difficult locations.
