We had WVPG install a Braemar Ducted Gas Heater yesterday and we want to congratulate your company and the chaps involved for absolutely first class service. All of the team were courteous, helpful and thoughtful, and went to considerable lengths to ensure that we were happy with the new controls, and then finished the whole job with a thorough clean up both inside and outside. In short, a wonderful experience of first class servicing. Again, congratulations to you all.

Andrew and his team from Canberra Valley Plumbing recently managed a large, complex storm water drainage project for me. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality experience that I encountered.

From the initial discussions with Andrew about the nature of the project through to completion and final sign off, I particularly appreciated the following aspects:

♦ Attention to detail with the identification of the problem, the planning stage, and the professional problem solving to achieve the best outcomes for my 45 year old residence.
♦ Excellent communication skills from Andrew and his team throughout the project.
♦ The office coordination which added to keeping me in the loop at all times. Thank you Samantha.
♦ The highly technical expertise and knowledge, heavy duty modern equipment and vehicles, and a team which always demonstrated professionalism.

The on-site team for the project worked diligently on task throughout the two and a half weeks and I was grateful for their hard work, considerate, informative approach and good spirits.

One word, ‘RELIEF’.
For the extended version – we went for the stab in the dark about 3 years ago, trawled the yellow pages, thought we’d try WVPG to start with (we had issues with our 10,000 litre in-ground domestic water tank and pump). 3 years down the track, we can say we are ‘relieved’ to have made the right (lucky) choice right from the word go.

A fully integrated business, with very knowledgeable and experienced personnel, courteous and well-led by Andrew.

In particular, I am impressed by their responsiveness and willingness not just to brush you off, but to EXPLAIN everything they propose to do, providing options and quotes, and follow up when needed. They have dealt professionally with everything from minor to major (just had to replace all our 80 year old terracotta pipes at the front). Also very good at troubleshooting tricky jobs (we had a lot of toing and froing with our water pump – but they persevered with us, didn’t brush us off, and eventually we came to a good solution).

Costs are reasonable (i.e. what you would expect) and not over the top. For me, having to call a plumber is a bit similar to having to call a dentist (a necessary evil and you are at their mercy to a certain extent). But always good when you find a great one! Peace of mind.

I just want to commend you on the choice of employee – Phil Meany is an absolute asset to your business.

He has be one of the most pleasant, professional and friendly tradesman I have ever come across.

It is obvious that he enjoys what he does and that includes working for you.

He couldn’t speak highly enough of his employer and his love for his job and that speaks volumes in today’s society!

If ever there is an award in the plumbing world for an outstanding employee, I believe you should nominate Phil and I would be the first to offer the support of a reference!

Please congratulate him for me as he ensured that if I ever need further assistance from a plumber – your business will be the first I call. (and the fact that he flicked me a fridge magnet to remind me who came to the house will assist my memory immensely).

I am writing to you to bring your attention to the excellent work of your technician Phillip on the Saturday, the 30th of August, 2014. On this day I returned from my 2 month’s overseas trip and I was not able to bring to life my ducted gas heating and hot water systems. I called your company for help. Phil was on the phone and told me that he will be coming soon. He came ahead of scheduled time(!) and very quickly fixed all my problems! Again, it was the excellent work and again his response was very quick this Saturday! I am very grateful to him for his help! When I rang your firm and spoke with the lovely Samantha on Friday 20 Feb, I got good old fashioned service and was of high quality and understanding of my needs. This type of service is rare nowadays. I highly commend Samantha for the clear and precise advice she gave me; it made it very easy for me to choose your firm to do the varied plumbing work which was carried out by Greg. He was very knowledgeable, understanding and did all the work in an efficient and no fuss/mess way.

My old hot water heater failed today. I called you, you asked clear questions so that you could help me, and you advised that a qualified person could attend the next day between 9 and 10 (not the more commonly encountered four hour band).

I then reconciled myself to, and endured, one cold shower (not so bad in retrospect but it seemed like the end of the world at the time).

Just as I was leaving for work you called and advised that a cancelled job meant that someone could come within 30 minutes. They came sooner than that.

The tradesman is named John. He is excellent. He knows what he is doing, deals well with people (both myself and the tradesman who turned up with the new unit), and was respectful of previous tradespeople who may or may have not been as competent as he in relation to some other plumbing matters to which he attended. If ever I need your services again, I want John.

Just after I arrived at work you called me to confirm pick-up arrangements for the old heater. The battery in my phone failed before I could pass on the above praise.

Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he had to endure several forays into the very dusty ceiling space to repair the ducted heating, which was not a pleasant experience. Since his visit, the heating (both the gas log fire and the ducted gas) have worked perfectly. Luke’s skill and work ethic are a credit to him and your organisation.
